South Limburg is the southernmost area of the Netherlands, bordering with Belgium and Germany. This destination has been popular for domestic tourists since 1885 when the tourism board of VVV Zuid-Limburg was founded. The destination’s unique selling points are the marlstone caves which can be visited, the small towns which are situated in a hillside country and the emphasis on high gastronomic experiences.
